CORONAVIRUS AND MASS ATTENDANCE

IIn response to the Coronavirus pandemic the Bishops Conference has decided that, following official advice and in order to keep each other safe, save lives and support the NHS, at this time we must not gather for public acts of worship in our churches. This has begun from Friday evening, 20th March 2020 and will continue until further notice.  Fr Anthony will continue to say private Mass, with the Intentions indicated in the weekly newsletter and all are invited to join spiritually, watching its live streaming; following its prayers at home; making an act of spiritual communion. We are also encouraged to care for each other by being attentive to the needs of our neighbour, especially the elderly and vulnerable; contributing to our local food banks; volunteering for charitable initiatives and organisations; simply keeping in touch by all the means open to us.

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on 23 March, the Church will now not be open at all and will remain closed until further notice.

For further information please see
